NAI Harmon Group Announces Groundbreaking for New 70,000 SF Spec Building in Defiance, Ohio
Toledo, Ohio — November 3, 2025 — Ed Harmon, founder of NAI Harmon Group, has announced the development of a new 70,000-square-foot speculative industrial building in the Harmon Business Park of Defiance. Groundbreaking for the project is scheduled for 10:00 am on Friday, November 14th, 2025, marking the next phase of growth within the business park.
Located on E. Commerce Drive and Domersville Road, the new building will expand the park’s presence and support the increasing demand for industrial space in the region. Initially slated to be 70,000 SF, the building is expandable to 100,000 SF and will be situated directly across from the current tenant APG in the Harmon Business Park.
The Class A industrial space is designed for flexibility and can accommodate a range of manufacturing, warehousing, or logistics operations. With the booming industrial growth of Defiance, Ohio, this spec will be a lucrative addition to the inventory.
NAI Harmon Group will serve as the brokerage team to market the property. JobsOhio and the Regional Growth Partnership share Harmon’s vision for Northwest Ohio, utilizing their Ohio Site Inventory Program (OSIP) to support funding for this project. OSIP’s goal is to fill gaps in Ohio’s real estate inventory with real estate targeting near-term sector wins. This ensures our state is more competitive for reactive site selection projects.
