NAI Global Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (“DEI”)

The NAI Global Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (“DEI”) Council Leadership that launched in Spring 2021, opened its membership on October 18, 2022. We established the Council Leadership to shape the strategic direction and real-time diversity initiatives that will support our members in achieving their DEI goals.

The overall vision of the Council Leadership is to provide support for leaders and professionals within NAI Global to create an inclusive environment where everyone can thrive and grow in commercial real estate.

The Council Leadership’s mission will be to focus on defining diversity objectives and to implement solutions that help NAI member firms expand their diversity footprint in the scope of new business opportunities, suppliers, hiring diverse candidates, community advocacy and inclusive education and awareness initiatives.

Why a DEI Council?

The council is being formed to expand our current diversity initiatives and as a result of the 2022 NAI Global principals survey results. Our members asked and we are answering the request to identify solutions to help with diversity goals and ways to get involved and support inclusion efforts.

How you can get involved

NAI Global DEICouncil Leadership

The council will be comprised of leaders from across the organization representing all facets of diversity. The council will establish key inclusion initiatives, collaborate on strategies to increase hiring and equity solutions, and identify measurable targets to meet our goals inside the NAI Network and within the commercial real estate profession.

Our goal is to help all NAI leaders and professionals build their knowledge base, skills and abilities to thrive in a global environment while respecting people of different cultures and backgrounds.

NAI Global DEICouncil

Membership is open to any current NAI professional. Members will meet via Zoom to discuss current & future DEI events, recent transactions and DEI programs & initiatives.

Members are invited to events including trainings and networking opportunities with other members of the DEI community and supporters across the world.

NAI Global DEI Champion

This is the chance for NAI Offices or individual professionals to collaborate with us and support an initiative that is line with your company’s values and goals. Shape how your brand is perceived by prospective employees, consumers, and clients.

By becoming a member supporter, your company logo (or, if a professional supporter, your full name with link to bio) will appear across several websites, social outlets and marketing material.

NAI Global DEIAlly

Every contribution matters, so be part of making our Council initiatives come to life. Your dollars as an expo-sponsor, will be allocated to specific initiatives, activities and programs. Being a DEI Ally, you become part of a group of companies who help sponsor young professionals and students to attend upcoming NAI Global or industry events in which we are participating.

When you sign up, you can select the specific donation attribution from a pre-determined list of options. You will receive acknowledgement and know exactly where your sponsorship lies.
